We will be back to scheduled programming next week (mon the 24). I will be prioritizing the newsletter once again. The opening of the store monetarily does well, but something still doesn’t feel quite right. I’ve been thinking and searching and looking for ways to amplify a community, but I think my geo is the issue. We live in an online world and I have lots of friends who have said without e-commerce they would have closed down, I need more than an online presence and would like to really do more IRL stuff and build a community, but to put it bluntly I don’t think people here really care. It kinda sucks that you need an art director otherwise people don’t really care. I don’t really want to be a cool follower, I want to do something larger than that and bring people together through print. Im rambling at this point, but here is my epiphany
I’ve lived in Missouri my whole life. I need something new. I hate how many times I’ve started over, but I think it’s time to start over again. Everyone who’s left says leave, and everyone who wants to see me down says stay. I’ve tried so hard to make this place work, and it was cool for the first year or so, but now I feel like I’m just stuck.
I will be in Philly and NYC soon. San Francisco to follow, and back in Paris after that. If you want to link and build, reach out to me.
Thanks for the support newsletters will continue next week
